Please note that your use of our Site constitutes your Agreement to follow and be bound by these terms (the "Agreement"). Registration on blizzardpets.com requires you to be at least 13 years of age without parental consent. Those under this age are required to have parental consent and are required to check off the appropriate spot upon registration. Saying "I didn't know all the rules" will NOT be an excuse that will be accepted.

If an account is found to have broken the rules as listed below, termination will most likely be imposed at the sites creators/managers discretion. Individuals are only allowed one free account per person, those found to have more than one accounted will be banned from the site and they will lose ALL their pets, items and points earned PERMANENTLY. NO EXCEPTIONS!
All references to blizzardpets.com within this document & our privacy policy also imply a reference to the owners. Please be advised that images and games within the site ALSO belong to blizzardpets.com

Use of our Site & services

1. You will not: perform and or entice any illegal activities. (Break the law) You agree not to use blizzardpets.com in a manner that is prohibited by any law or regulation, or to facilitate the violation of any law or regulation. You acknowledge that prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, use of blizzardpets.com to invade the privacy of third parties (other players), impersonation of blizzardpets.com personnel or other parties or entities, (Pretend to be staff) or transmitting abusive, profane, libelous, slanderous, threatening or other harassing material; (post stuff that’s NOT suitable for ALL ages) this also prohibits any links and/or directions to such material.

Trademark & copyright laws. Use of content that violates these laws is prohibited; any infringements filed against you will result in the offending content being removed until the matter is resolved. By no means is blizzardpets.com obliged to become involved in any disputes between users of this site. Anyone found to be infringing on these rules will be removed from the site and or permanently banned.

You agree not to use blizzardpets.com for any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable means, including but not limited to, the content you post. Any images and/or image descriptions in violation of this are subject to deletion. You agree not to display within forms or in your profile, any images or content containing any pornographic, nudity or any obscene materials. You agree not to attempt to display within forums or your profile, anything other than CLEAN images or content.

You agree not to share your account with anyone or give your account login details to anyone else; doing so will be an immediate banning.

If an account becomes inactive for any reason, be it banning or abandonment, this account can be removed without notice at the discretion of the sites owners.

You are expressly forbidden from attempting to defraud us in any way or attempt to hack any part of blizzardpets.com or gain access to any other user’s accounts.

You are also forbidden from attempting other attacks on our service including but not limited to: DDOS attacks, planting viruses or Trojan worms; or attempt anything that may have a negative affect on our service to other users or as a whole.

Liability for Breach. For each violation by you of this section that inflicts blizzardpets.com financially or has the potential to damage our business in any way you agree to pay blizzardpets.com damages to compensate for the lost goodwill such a violation causes, but, where warranted, blizzardpets.com may waive all or part of the applicable charge. Payment by you under this Section shall not prevent blizzardpets.com from seeking to obtain other legal remedies against you, including other damages or an injunction.

2. Blizzardpets.com reserves the right to change the features for free accounts at our own discretion without notice.

3. You understand that any fees associated with gold accounts are non-refundable, nor disputable.

4. You understand that gold member upgrades are a one time fee per upgrade, if you wish to obtain more than one you need to pay for a 2nd, 3rd and so on.

5. You will take full responsibility for the contents of the images you display within the site & the descriptions created for images in forums & understand that if you break the rules about inappropriate images or content then you will be removed from blizzardpets.

Tribes: Tribes are places where members can gather to chat to others within their tribes. Please refrain from having too much drama within these groups and follow the rules even within these areas. This section can and will likely change as the site grows.

Graphics: Members are permitted to add an image (as compliant to the rules) to their profile. Members are permitted to ask another to make these images for them and the artist making this image is permitted AT THEIR OWN RISK to charge an agreed upon fee in points ONLY. Site artists are allowed to also provide this service IF they have time, remember not to harass staff if you as the user request a staff member to do an image for you.

Members are NOT permitted to "steal" others images and resell them, or claim them as their own.

Those who use blizzardpets images HAVE to include on the image "Used with permission of Blizzardpets.com 2008- ©"

Members who do not comply with this section could find themselves fined the amount they earned or more depending on the rule broken.

Advertisements Advertising will appear usually within the sites pages (bottom and or side bar) this also includes the blizzardpets banner. Blizzardpets.com also reserves the right to add any additional advertisements to any part of blizzardpets.com as we see fit. These advertisements are to help pay for the sites hosting needs and more. Those who wish not to see these can always turn on their pop up blocker.

Compliance with law: You shall comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding your use of our site.

Privacy Policy The information collected and used on the Site is governed by Canadian privacy laws. Blizzardpets will comply with these regulations unless legal action is being taken on someone/member for severe offenses and the law becomes involved.

Disclaimer

THIS SITE AND ALL CONTENTS OF THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES SHALL BE AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE SHALL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY ARISING FROM YOUR USE, REGISTRATION TO USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE ARE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold blizzardpets.com harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site. (This means if you get into trouble for using this site because you didn’t have permission or you broke a rule that lead to severe punishment we are NOT responsible for the actions taken against you!

Termination:

This Agreement is effective unless and until terminated by either you or blizzardpets.com. You may terminate this Agreement at any time; blizzardpets.com also may terminate this Agreement at any time. Blizzardpets.com also may terminate this Agreement at any time and may do so immediately without notice, and accordingly deny you access to the Site, if in blizzardpets.com's sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or provision of this Agreement.

Upon any termination of this Agreement by either you or blizzardpets.com, you will lose access to all of blizzardpets.com & your account deleted including all your pets, points & content & will receive no compensation whatsoever unless otherwise agreed to by both parties.

Governing Laws

You agree that this Agreement & your use of this Site will be governed by the laws of the country of Canada. You may also be subject to other local, state, national, and international laws. You expressly agree that any dispute and/or claim arising out of or in connection with your use of and/or inability to use the Site shall be submitted to individual arbitration without resort to litigation before any state or Federal Court, and that such arbitration shall be heard in the City of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Submission of ideas you may submit ideas, feedback & suggestions to us but you understand that in doing so you give us full permission to use the suggestion/idea without any compensation to you whatsoever. This includes game ideas, pet concepts, contest ideas and more. Miscellaneous

While we will take all steps necessary to protect your data & personal information from unauthorized third parties, we will not be held responsible if it is obtained by any third party by use of but not limited to: hacking, viruses, Trojan worms or any other related attacks or vulnerabilities. You as the user are responsible for providing your own safety measures against such possibilities.

We reserve the right to change these terms of use and/or our privacy policy, at which time you will be notified via email of the respective changes/modifications; if you do not agree with the new TOU and/or privacy policy then you will be required to respond to the email & ask us to terminate your account from our Site.
